Solution #1: How to find the code to the encrypted log and the objects relative position to the sun
Compare the suns frequency reading with PI and the mismatch of numbers is the code and in the log it tells you the relative position to the sun
Solution #2: How to find out the objects relative velocity to the sun.
Look at the sample return from the probe after launching it at the sun from the terminal theres 2 gravitational anomalies. one is expected, which is your ship and one is unexpected which is the object. there you can see the velocity relative to the sun.
Solution #3: How to find out when the object collides with the sun.
Theres a clock on the wall which shows time since arrival. wait until the sun goes supernova and then look at the clocks time or just read the games title.
